I can’t believe it. Baby Elijah is two months old today! He and I spent the afternoon out on the town- started at Starbucks for a mommy-pick-me-up, then found some great red grommet top drapes for our dining room (at the record price of $10.50 a pair at Old Time Pottery), picked up a gently used colorful play-seat at Puddle Jumpers (an awesome kids consignment shop in town) for our growing boy and ended at the grocery store.
We were excited to come home and see Daddy, make dinner, and be home for the evening. After Elijah had a full tummy and his PJ’s on, we started making dinner- meatball subs and crinkle cut fries (quite fitting, since this was the meal we had the night we went to the hospital two months ago). Eli was so happy sitting in the middle of the kitchen in his “rock and play”. Matt was speaking Spanish to him he was totally loving it! Since he was in such a good mood, I decided to interview him regarding his first two months (see video, sorry for the unfortunate ending). Love this kid!
